Responsible for supervising service delivery across all Career Center funding sources. Creates and implements a demand driven, employer focused model to achieve state and federal benchmarks for WIOA. Oversee a “high tech/ high touch” approach for customers to access American Job Center services. Obtains and monitors data for state and federal compliance as well as program improvements. The Executive Director is responsible to engage all staff, customers, partners and key stakeholders to facilitate a successful transition and ongoing operations.

The Executive Director will create and actively manage the new service delivery model. The Executive Director will design new Career Center procedures to drive staff, partners and stakeholders toward an employer driven model. The position will provide leadership in the areas of eligibility, case management, education, in-demand sector based industries, placement and recruitment, and retention.

As a leader and member of the Corporate Management Team the Executive Director is accountable for ensuring quality and integrity across all Career Center functions (youth and adult).

Key Duties:

  • Serves as primary support for Career Center Operations
  • Serves as a community ambassador to create new partnerships and affiliate locations
  • Responsible for compliance to meet all contract requirements, including the adherence to policies and procedures and program monitoring
  • Directly supervises all Career Center Staff across all funding sources
  • Develop and implement strategies to incorporate a focus on performance objectives in the daily operations of organizational staff
  • Manage the enrollment functions of the Career Center including WIOA, credential programs, ITA programs, etc.
  • Hire, train and develop staff system wide

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required’ Masters or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a successful leader
  • 5-8 years experience in Workforce Development is preferred
