SUMMARY: To accurately monitor the shipping, receiving, and stocking of inventory to meet the needs of all branches.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following and other duties that may be assigned by management. Receives, fulfills, and confirms branch stock transfers in a timely manor. Maintains adequate inventory of all branches to provide same day service to the customer whenever possible. Communicates effectively to all employees and branches with regards to product / inventory.Responsible for checking daily inventory needs. Responsible for UPS autoships to customers and manufacturers. Receives product in accordance with company policy.Returns products to manufacturer in accordance with company policy when warranted.Performs all other duties as assigned by manager.

Ability to read and write and perform basic mathematical calculations.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are represented of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. ORIENTATION: Must complete orientation in designated time frame. The employee will receive supervised training and familiarize themselves of company policies, procedures and services. CONTINUING EDUCATION: Attendance at training programs and other training programs as designated by management.
