Technology Support Specialist

This position is a flexible part-time (15 hrs/wk), non-exempt position. The core hours of this position will be 9:00 am - 1:00 pm with occasional nights/weekends, based on operational needs.

Position Summary: Promotes efficiency and effectiveness of the agency by providing desktop support and training to all network and systems end users.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensures technology efficiency through end user support and trainings.
  • Promotes reliability of systems through troubleshooting and routine support/maintenance of equipment.
  • Ensure agency data security through enforcement of protocols and procedures.
  • Create a welcoming and supportive environment, through technology, for internal and external customers.
  • Provides support for technology administration through research and task management.

Qualifications:

  • Ability lead a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse ethnic, economic, racial and cultural backgrounds.
  • One year of training/experience, in technology systems and network support preferred.
  • A+ Certification preferred.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Presentation/training experience preferred.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, Hmong, Karen or another African language preferred but not required.
