Position Description:

The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the efficient functioning of the Founder and Co-Founder within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities include performing advanced-level administrative work of a complex nature including planning, coordinating, problem solving and producing work that requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality. The Executive Assistant will be called upon to interpret and communicate the executive's intent to other managers.

Job Duties:

  • Prioritizes, plans, schedules and organizes multiple projects simultaneously based on importance of projects or tasks assigned
  • Collaborates with another executive assistant to provide holistic coverage for the Founder and Co-Founder
  • Follows up on deadlines and commitments to or from the Founder and Co-Founder
  • Anticipates issues and identifies solutions
  • Independently prepares correspondence, reports or complex presentations
  • Reviews and summarizes information and presents in a concise format
  • Coordinates the preparation and distribution of supporting information in advance of upcoming meetings
  • Special projects and personal errands as required
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Mac experience is preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Post Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, or relevant discipline, required
  • Secondary School Diploma required
  • 5+ years experience supporting a senior level executive

Work Environment:

  • Manual dexterity required to operate computer and peripherals
  • Interaction with employees, various management levels and the public at large
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Repetitive work
  • Overtime is required
  • Flexible schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
