About the business and the role:

Our Client, is the leading payment solutions provider in all of New Zealand.

Based in the Wairau Valley (Auckland) , they are in need of 2 full-time Consultants to join their sales team.

The Sales Consultant is responsible for developing new clients and effectively managing existing clients through inbound telephone and email including some face to face sales calls. The person will have responsibility for the efficient and accurate provision of quotations, order escalation management, and follow up on applications and resolution from day to day business through to sales conversion.

Responsibilities:

  • Deals with inbound sales enquiries, and emails all generated via on-line sales channels and inbound calls to our contact center
  • Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending our EFTPOS solutions
  • Manage the sales process through our CRM, ensuring it is always up to date and accurate
  • Close sales and achieve monthly targets
  • Monitor performance and analysis of reports to identify improvement opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 -3 years’ experience in a call centre environment, or telesales/customer service environment
  • Experience in following a structured sales path in a previous organization and managing a sales process through to conclusion
  • Excellent IT skills, competent in Microsoft Outlook and Zoho (optional)
  • Aptitude to confidently and quickly pick up the use of in-house systems
  • Examples of exceptional customer experience

This employer is offering a base salary of $40,000/year plus commission package for this role.
