The Company:

Our Client is a leading IT Managed Services Provider in based in the Sydney Metro Area. They are looking to build on their well established Service Desk team by introducing a high performing Network Support Consultant - Level 2/3 .

The Role:

The Service Desk teams are responsible for all incident management and the support of a fantastic portfolio of customers. Not only do they deal with the technical issues at hand but have a good reputation for coaching people so that an issue will not reoccur. It is all about the care provided to the end users and the ability to be the first line on response.
The successful Candidate will be placed 3 - 4 days per week working the Helpdesk as well as 1 - 2 days per week on site with Clients performing the following:

  • System Health Checks, maintenance & consulting
  • Server Migration and Network Upgrades
  • Helpdesk, Onsite & Project Services

Candidates should have strong hands on experience with:

  • MS Windows Server
  • MS Exchange Server
  • Routers
  • Firewalls
  • Office 365
  • Backup Exec or ShadowProtect
  • Virtualisation (VMware or HyperV
  • Dealing with Clients with 10 - 100 staff.
  • Have excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills.
