Purchasing Officer

Job Description

  • Performing day to day procurement activities including purchasing, delivery follow up, receiving, preparing and issuing.
  • Work collaboratively with Purchasing Clerk.
  • Update and monitor new price and new material to price listing server.
  • Check pending DO with ERP and delivery schedule.
  • Fill in vendor evaluation on monthly basis.
  • To ensure adequate communication with the suppliers for best price and term negotiation, evaluate existing and new supplier’s performance by ranking and selecting based company standard and requirement.
  • Check all complete related to Purchase Order with approval for filing and audit purpose.
  • Received and check invoice supplier against our PO and DO.
  • Support Executive and Manager with any assigned task required.
  • Monitor Filing accordingly.


  • Candidate must possess at SPM/STPM /Professional Certificate/ Diploma in related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably those with Manufacturing background. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Mature and self-motivated with good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, adaptable and with pleasant personality
  • Enjoy challenges and able to work with tight deadlines.
