Job Summary:

Work to promote the visual presence of STI and TCE in the industry within our region. Contribute ideas to foster creative marketing solutions based on the sales message/benefit/goals with intentional knowledge of STI and TCE's different target customers. Work in a team environment to accomplish goals. Coordinating with other departments and sales managers to publicize STI events to drive attendance and participation by targeted marketing efforts. Design, creative development, coordination, and implementation of advertising and marketing collateral for web, print, in-store video, email marketing, presentations, and trade show displays, while maintaining branding guidelines for the purpose of endorsing STI and TCE products, services, and solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

Essential functions:

Essential tasks of this position include, but are not limited to, the illustration of concept through production/usage by designing composite layouts of related media to press and web-ready publication for the following:

  • In-store merchandising displays, signage, in-store video, flyers (monthly, seasonal, special events)
  • Exterior signage and/or awning design and collaboration w/outside vendors
  • Trade show displays and signage, as needed
  • STI-generated literature (catalogs, forms, decals, etc.)
  • Monthly direct mailings, promotional flyers, and custom collateral for special projects
  • Advertisement in digital and printed publications
  • Vehicle graphics and decals
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Inserts for outbound boxes
  • Website updates and general maintenance
  • Includes graphical and copy content such as page verbiage, promotional banners and images placed on_ www.smithturf.com and www.turf-care.com t_ o provide information on services and products via the web
  • Press releases and email marketing/newsletters
  • Brand management - update and maintain company and vendor logos for all related media usage, including apparel
  • Seminar, class, and special event collateral and online media
  • Customer marketing material such as brochures, mailers, rack cards, yard signs, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • When necessary, complete projects and/or orders by coordinating with outside agencies, marketing services, suppliers, commercial printers, etc. by researching businesses and obtaining quotes for respective purposes.
  • In-house digital printing and distribution of monthly in-store materials and additional items as needed -- sorting/packaging
  • Distribution of commercially printed media within deadlines
  • Coordinate with other administrative and warehouse personnel to ship various items to stores and territory managers
  • Back up for Intranet updates and general maintenance of The Smith Center
  • Includes graphical and copy content such as page and clickable content verbiage, forms, graphics, and other media content to be available on the company's internal website (exclusive of framework)
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the company's social media presence and brand identity
  • Work with IT/IS and Purchasing departments to design and develop a stronger visual presence in web/e-commerce

  • Graphic design skills and technical knowledge

Minimum Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Expert computer and software skills in related areas to carry out the duties of this position. _- I nclude s_ _, but not limited to, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud , specifically: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat DC_
