Registrar (Part-Time)

The Springfield Campus has an excellent opportunity for a part-time Campus Registrar . This part-time position is responsible for maintaining student records and interdepartmental communication of student status.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Completes following tasks daily: records attendance, contacts students with attendance issues, processes new enrollments and re-enrollment files, verifies High School transcripts/GEDs, processes withdrawals and closes withdrawal files, processes address changes, writes letters, completes transcript requests.
  • Completes following tasks weekly: weekly attendance and drop report.
  • Completes following tasks monthly: completes agency forms; completes, in cooperation with Placement Coordinator, Internal G& E chars; prints in-school list for a school accountant.
  • Completes following tasks for 10 —week term: schedules classes, registers students for classes, creates new attendance restores, creates start list for other departments, performs instructor maintenance, records final grades, review final grades for failing grades/probation issues and notifies Director, DOE , Financial Aid and Accounting; prints and distributes report cards; prints graduate transcripts, diplomas and degrees’; closes graduates files; prints student attendance and achievements awards, processes LOAs, no shows and cancels, provides mid-term follow-up, and monitors SAP. Notifies students of probations and suspensions. Updates Campusvue with the correct status and notifying other departments of student statuses.
  • Completes following tasks annually: ACCSC Annual Report, IPEDS, State Accreditation Reporting,’ updates Student Right to Know and Course Wheel Schedules.
  • Regular and consistent attendance.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: This position requires an Associate's degree plus 3-5 years of experience in Education and/or Counseling. A Bachelor's Degree is a plus. The position requires personal computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, and Outlook). Excellent spelling and grammar skills with the ability to communicate in a courteous, tactful and concise manner, is essential.
